Google User Data

Calqy collects your full name. We store your full name so that we can address you personally by email and personalize our communication to you.

Google Sheets Permissions

To help streamline your workflows in Google Sheets, Calqy needs your authorization to perform specific operations on your behalf.

Access to Create, Edit, and Delete Google Sheets Spreadsheets:

Our application requires the ability to edit your spreadsheets to create and update reports effectively. To achieve this, we use the Google Sheets API, which allows us to efficiently perform the necessary operations. Without this permission, we are unable to provide the services you expect.

Calqy’s access is limited to spreadsheets where you have explicitly activated it. Within those spreadsheets, we only make changes to sheets created by Calqy. Even within each sheet, Calqy solely focuses on rows and columns created by itself. Any additional rows or columns you add remain untouched.

Be assured that Calqy will never delete any of your spreadsheets, sheets, rows, or columns. Your data remains safe and secure.

Connect to an external service

This permission enables communication with external systems and services beyond Google Sheets. It facilitates the following interactions:

Run Calqy in the background:

Calqy provides an easy way to import reports from QuickBooks into Google Sheets, but its true value lies in automatically refreshing those reports. To do this, we need permission to perform tasks without you having to open Calqy manually every time.

Show Calqy’s interface within Google apps:

This permission allows Calqy to interact with you within Google Sheets. It enables you to connect QuickBooks accounts, create and manage reports, and drill down into your numbers right from your spreadsheet.

Track user actions for product improvement:

To understand how customers use our features and identify key areas for improvement, we track some user actions using MixPanel. In these cases, we use the email address of the logged-in Google user for identification.

Infrastructure

Access and modification privileges to our systems are granted based on the principle of least privilege and are always protected by multi-factor authentication.

Application

To import reports from QuickBooks, we store tokens that allow us to perform API operations on the user’s behalf.

Calqy strictly adheres to a read-only approach when accessing data via the QuickBooks API, ensuring that your QuickBooks data remains untouched and unaltered.

Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with third parties in the following situations:

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information that we hold.
